    Yes it's parts & labour
    I've already said it's group service that does the repairs not homeserve
    I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

    my Vaillant is just 3 years old and ive been trying to not only get a fault sorted but for Vaillant to recognise it on their system.

    When your engineer signed and sent the paperwork to them you would have got a document from Vaillant acknowledging the registration and guarantee (including having it serviced every year by a gas safe registered engineer) On that document there is a number and that is what is on their system.

I am periodically away so have the cover for piece of mind for the family (BG have always came out within 24 hours - who do we contact with the Vaillant warranty? How quickly do they visit?)

    We canceled our homeserve contract when we had the Vaillant installed and have a contract for an annual service to satisfy the Vaillant condition in the 7 year warranty that came with the boiler. I have never had to call them for repairs, I never want to have to call them for repairs. :)

    Intergas boilers seem to be gaining a good reputation amongst fitters.
