Took myself off for a lunchtime walk today, so I will definitely get over the 10k mark for once, this year!
Am planning on taking 2 bags to the Sally Army on the way home. Then we can start to fill the 2 replacement bags.
Must do some cutting out of monster fabric tonight, now that my finger is better enough. I have made another template to experiment with. So, more 'proper' hobby and less screen time is in order...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Yay - the rain stopped pelting down so the kiddies could go outside at lunchtime! And I got to do my duty and still remain dry.
Last working day of the week and I realise that next week will be much more full-on with fewer breathing spaces. At least it won't surprise me... So I'd best crack on with 'getting stuff done' instead of mooching on here...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

To do lists just overwhelm me into a state of non-productivity :rotfl:Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Not bad...! But I confess to getting the bus x3 to make it quicker. And after collecting dd, I went up to near aldee yet again, to a coffee shop, and we had a lovely time together.
The curtains are now ironed and hung back up - no more fishbowl living for us.
No craft, just some knitting of dd's cardigan in c0sta. And no marking :rotfl:.
The floor sweep has become a much bigger job and will be done tomorrow afternoon, as it means moving all the furniture around.
The workout was another epic one - over 21 mins to do. Ooph. And I should get around 17,000 steps by bedtime - moving me up from 7th on my list to bronze medal position .NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Random gnocci comment...DH got gnocci con sprouts for dinner on Monday.0
-
Gnocchi - just found 4 packets in a bag. Guess what I'll be feeding dh for a while... but not with sprouts...
Dh took dd to dance - yay! And I got on with washing, washing up, hanging the washing up, sweeping the floor and using wetwipes on some random sticky bits. Lovely friend came round with a bike for dd + 2 dressing gowns (hidden for now as faaaaar too big).
Bike is for dd's bday.
Have the Great Edinburgh Cross Country runs on thetelly, so I'll do some more cardigan.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
