    As coupon-mad said earlier

"Use the AA receipt at POPLA stage - along with all the usual template points for POPLA as in the NEWBIES thread post #3, and STILL do not imply who was driving."

Were this to get to court it would almost certainly be thrown out. Similarly in a council car park, see MC22 here

    https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/car_parks_and_parking/penalty_charges/how_to_appeal_against_a_pcn/mitigating_circumstances.aspx

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

    http://parliamentlive.tv/event/index/2f0384f2-eba5-4fff-ab07-cf24b6a22918?in=12:49:41 recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.

Thanks for your help so far guys!

At the POPLA stage I'm a little confused, there is so much information in post #3 that I'm struggling to establish what template to use.

I'm just a bit confused if I'm just going on frustration of contract point or whether you include as many points as possible

Also struggling to find a frustration of contract case to research, does anyone have a link of one for me to read and the best way about using my proof of the AA assisting me

Another question is what do i select on the POPLA appeal?, I'm guessing 'i was not improperly parked' ?

    Thanks

    Why are you guessing?
And why are you choosing an option that gives away the driver's identity?

Didn't you read this in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread?...
These then get saved as PDFs and uploaded to POPLA under OTHER (ONLY) -

That's it. At this point use the template unaltered. When you get a POPLA code you can use all the usual points (which you will have read up on in post 3 of the Newbies thread) and add in frustration of contract to personalise your appeal.

There was a massive clue in this post as to whether you should use one appeal point or all the usual points in conjunction with your personal circumstances.

Sorry I'm just not finding post #3 very easy to follow. There is so many links that go off on different tangents that I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do and I'm close to giving up to be honest.

I'm not sure what 'all the usual points' are as they all seem different.

Am i supposed to use this as a template?

Sorry I'm really trying to do this myself but this type of thing is not my strong point at all.

If you are stuck this one is a really good one to use as a template https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=5698328

Thank you! I'm confused as to why the links are not included in that?
