Employer paying for NCI

Options
After this year I have only 3 years of National Insurance Contributions to be paid for the maximum pension. If I am working after the 3 years will my employer just stop paying for this and is it possible I may get a pay rise because of this?

NI doesn't just pay for your pension you know. It pays for other benefits you might be entitled to.

You pay NIC until you reach state pension age; they do NOT just fund your pension, they are unofficially a tax to cover benefits.
    Know what you don't

Thanks for that. I only came aware of the 'funding' when my work coach at the time mentioned it in passing. Thx.
