Just phoned Sky Mobile and they confirmed that the 6 2Gig offer is open to new customers - complete with data rollover - so seems like a good deal

I live in Spain but need a UK mobile number.

It won't be used very much at all so it needs to be a PAYG sin only deal with no roaming or monthly charge.

Which is currently the best deal please?

    Thank you.

I was tempted by this deal but looking at the mobiles.co.uk page it says you have to claim the cashback at 5 different during the year, claiming 26.40 each time. How does the extra 10 for using the voucher factor into this?

If it was a one off claim for the cashback I would be going for it, but it just seems a bit strange? What do you think of this?

Mobile roaming is limited (and enforced) by the networks to a max of 60 days.

I can confirm that Sky now do the 6pm 2GB 4G data and unlimited calls and texts without the need for a TV contract. It was until recently (maybe the last week or two) that you would need it. I am cancelling my TV and have moved both mobiles I have with sky over to that deal. Not sure if its a limited time offer or not. I must admit I am quite happy with Sky mobile, not had any issues with them for my mobiles.

    Hi

I thought I'd add my two cents as I've just signed up to this exact 100Gb Voda sim deal.
This is how I've understood it:

If you go to the Mobiles.co.uk website without the affiliate MSE link you get 132 cashback by redemption (aka painful submitting of bills)

If you go through the MSE link its 'only' 110 automatic cashback (100 from Mobiles.co.uk + 10 by using MSE voucher code)

So you get 22 less cashback but in return its automatic - you receive a cheque for the full amount within 2 months. Time will tell I interpreted it correctly.

Confusingly at the bottom of the confirmation email it says:

    About your cashback offer
    Your cashback offer
Claiming your cashback couldn't be simpler. You will need to send in your mobile phone bill at months .
This will save you 0 over your 12 month contract. In effect, this will take your monthly line rental to 15.666666666667 per month.
You can send electronic versions of your bill via your My Account area by clicking here.

Welcome to the world of Mobiles.co cashback. Sounds like you've missed the groundrule number 7 - copy the t&c at the point of sale - instead of relying on subsequent emails from them (which are often wrong and sometimes contradictory - as well as irrelevant IF you've done what you should have done).

I think this Smarty deal is a scam
Be Warned my wife & I have been waiting since the beginning of January this year for the elusive 10 Amazon voucher from Smarty. Still no sign 5 months later. We e mail them each month & get the same standard reply,
Hi, there has been a delay on delivery of Amazon vouchers arriving, we do apologies and rest assured you will receive yours in due course. I personally think this is a scam & you should stop advertising this.

Got a new deal with Tesco last week. Was getting 750 mins, 5,000 texts, and 6GB of data for 12.50. Now for the same money, I get everything almost the same except I now get 5,000 mins.

Pity Topcashback can't be trusted to pay up since you seem to like them SO much... I am wondering WHY??

I've had many contract-based mobile deals in the past but am now with Asda Mobile on a SIM only arrangement. I buy a bundle for 5 per month which gives me enough talk time, texts and internet for my needs. An Asda SIM is free if you order it online, or you can pick one up in one of their stores and pay for it. I really cant reecommend them highly enough and dont understand why MSE havent mentioned them in their latest article. Asda Mobile use the EE network, they have a UK based helpline and I use my phone when I am on holiday in Europe in exacty the same way as I do here. If you are thinking of getting a SIM only deal, then a visit to the Asda Mobile website will probably save you money on whatever your current deal is.

In case anyone is wondering, I have no connection to Asda whatsoever, other than the fact I shop there about once per month
