Try Homecare Hob Brite ceramic & Halogen hob cleaner available from supermarkets,I have had a ceramic hob cooker for 5 years and it still looks like new,
Apply Hob Brite with a damp cloth & then polish off with a piece of dry kitchen roll.
Also I use it to clean my stainless steel kettle & toaster.
    Hope this helps you.

I have always been pleased with hob brite as above. If I am really stuck and don't have any left I use a tiny amount of creme cleaner.

I've already tried the bicarb & vinegar on my ceramic hob but it didn't shift a couple of stubborn marks around the rings, despite much scrubbing. I might see if I can track down some 'Easy do' - is it available in Sainsbury's?

I bought the 'Easy-do' from Comet's and the Hob-Brite from Tesco. Before we bought our hob the appliance repair man told us to only use these things as other cleaning items can ruin and scratch the hob. As I said (above) I have always used these and my hob always comes up like new (it's five years old)

Well my first tip would be to get a microfibre cloth..if you don't already have one, and use that! Try to wipe the hob over as soon as you have used it, and to keep it gleaming, use hob brite...not OS but it is great :)

    Hi scooper,

We have an older thread on cleaning ceramic hobs, so I'll add your thread to it as it makes it easier for other readers to find all the replies in the same place.
