    Morning all

Big hugs to Dawn, Ziggy, CCL and everyone else

Feeling a bit ropey today. Very tired and a bit light headed. I don't need to be ill thank you very much - I'm off on holiday on Thursday!

    Today's mission:
    • B/L/D from stores
    • No alcohol (did end up taking the freelancer for a pint last night as he looked very stressed out)
    • Charge phone in work - done
    • Let OH know about freegler coming to pick up thing - done
    • Washing out on line - done
    • Knit sock
    • Early night
That's me. Attempting to feel better.

    Have a good one all

    Hi May Moneysavers,

It's still my weekend and I'm up before DW trying to tie up all the dull jobs before we go out and enjoy some Scottish sunshine. (It could be warm enough to just wear the one dufflecoat.)

    Dawn, thinking of you.

    Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:

    * Work very hard on my own mental health issues. Do Holistrio App.

    * Check online banking and broadband usage.
    Done.

    * Turned off alarm clock until tonight, it resets itself automatically. Done.

    * So relieved to have won argument with stupid car insurance company. It went like this:

They asked us for Document A.
Provided Document A through online account.
They said Document A wasn't good enough and we needed to pay an extra £100.
    Phoned them and expressed anger.
    Call Handler examined Document A.
Call Handler eventually approved Document A declaring it "fine".

    * Be much cheered by the prospect of receiving commisioned socks when beautifully created by The Awesome Sock Commissioner. :T

    * This fortnight has been all about cars. DW has bought a secondhand one from her savings. I have part-ex'd my secondhand one for a less derelict secondhand one before it fails the MOT. It's been a rollercaster of auto-related emotions. Some of the time I have been a Rabbit of Negative Euphoria. Car Insurance has been particularly brain-aching. I am now not paying road tax. :D Breakdown cover has been easy to alter; exchanged a car and added a car for £5.

    * Go for a walk with DW.

To live without risk is to risk not living.

And nor have you ever been! It's vehicle tax ;)

Sorry, I have my pedantic head on today. This is mostly because (and I'm not accusing you of such things) I get fed up with people who go on about the fact that cyclists don't pay road tax so they shouldn't be on the road. A lot of folks don't seem to realise that a lot of the road repair budget comes from their council tax.

Either that or I'm grumpy cos I'm feeling ill. I'll swap back for my pleasant head once these paracetamol kick in. :o

Right. Am fed up of whatever is going on in my noggin.

So I've rung the doctor to chase up my ENT referral and I'm going to the opticians to book an appointment and to check that my glasses haven't been adversely affected by the donks they have received. :T

He reckoned my glasses were pretty much ok but did make a slight adjustment. Hopefully it will be a bit of help. Appointment booked for eye test.

Oh I am so not in the mood for a meeting tonight. Still some prep to do :(

Was up early to the supermarket as i desperately needed cat litter and a couple of bits to make a minestrone soup in the slow cooker.
First time doing this soup so anything that was looking a bit jaded in the fridge got thrown in. It's smelling great. Will have some for supper when I get in tonight.

Going thru a soup phase at the minute, weather not overly sunny here at the minute, we've had some overcast days and still cold at night.

Cat cleaning all done first thing.
    Downstairs hoovering done
    Soup cooking.
Banking all checked-d.debits all up to date
Balanced my spends book-everything now up to date
Phoned about a hospital appt yesterday. Had a very shirty woman on the phone saying we don't send out appointments, I said well you have been doing with me, went off to check and came back with a completely different attitude of when they could next fit me in. Think there was a slight botch up there but at least have an appointment now.
    Hope DawnW is doing okay.

Right off to get a bit more sorted
Have a great day everyone x

Thanks ziggy! We're off to Berlin :)

Weirdly I often find that the light headedness improves in the afternoon. Perhaps because I can consciously clear my ears more?
