Car boot sales in Edinburgh?

Does anyone know of a carboot in Edinburgh soon? My sister and I want to sell some of our old (but quality) things.

Does anyone know if the car boot sale at Newcraighall is busy (the last Sunday of every month) or is the one at Greenside best? It's been years since I did a car boot and it was Greenside I used last time but if the Newcraighall one is as busy I'd rather be outside in this weather

Not sure how to ask a question so am doing a reply. Thinking of doing a car boot sale! We live in Edinburgh - Where do people advise we should go? Pitfalls to avoid would be gratefully received.

We went along to the boot sale at Chesser this morning. We were only 5 mins before the last cars were allowed in and were disappointed to see that there were only 4 cars set up and maybe 6 people wandering around.

Didn't fancy paying £15 if there wasn't going to be anyone to sell to so we headed home again.

Anyone know if this one is maybe busier on a Saturday instead?
