Can't change supplier Gas meter too big! 12th Feb 19 at 6:01 PM
Currently supplied by EON. No problem except price!
I am a large DOMESTIC user of gas and have a bigger gas meter than most. Everybody I have tried to change to has been unable to accept me because I have a large Gas meter!!!
What is the sense behind this I ask?
Surely it is against the law to refuse to supply energy to somebody giving the reason "your meter is too big"!!!
I know that a shop can refuse to serve you because they"feel like it" but as a consumer of energy in the UK I should be allowed choice surely ?????

For large domestic users suppliers need to carry out an extra step to register for your supply.

They need to nominate for it and this is often a manual step so best to get in touch with the supplier you want to switch to directly
