Hi hetty! It's going! Lol. Thank you for asking.
My partner has got the occupiers consent form, signed it and it went back in the post to the solicitor today. My old house in Yorkshire has completed and now belongs to my ex, with the condition that he gives me my half of the money when he sells it or if he decides to stay he gives me the money then so I have posted my keys to the house back to him. It seems all we are waiting for now is the answers from the buyer and their solicitor to the questions that my solicitor has asked and for the tenant to move out. Fingers crossed all goes smoothly!
I had my appraisal at work and I'm hoping I will get a pay rise out of it as my supervisor is pleased with my work and how I've fitted in in the 9 months that I have been there.
I'm hoping to get some bits for the house this weekend, as exciting as it sounds, I need some bins!
Have a great weekend!Mortgage Balance as of Jan 24 £36,500 Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. 2024 Overpayment Challenge: Jan £558.40, Feb £588.11, Mar £497.321 -
All sounds really positive :j. It must be a weekend for bins, one of my neighbours has given us a compost bin! When my marriage ended I stayed in the house and eventually bought my ex out so opposite to you. Fingers crossed the rest of the legal stuff goes smoothly and you can get in your new home soon.Grocery challenge SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 ? Hey Jessy! :hello: Good to see you back but I'm sorry you've had such a rough time. The job sounds like it's going really well and you've done well to get your deposit sorted and be in a position to buy from just having your dogs and slow cooker!

I went and signed the contracts on Friday for the house. We will exchange and complete this Friday the 28th. I'm getting quite excited now!
The deposit and solicitors fees are all paid for and the solicitor fee turned out less than expected so I have money left in my savings which is a bonus.
Tonight I have arranged the home insurance, phone and internet, the TV license and water. I did everything I could through C0mp@r3th3m@rk3t so i will get cashback from Swagbucks and I even got a £75 gift card.
All that is left to sort is the electric (the heating and cooking is all electric) which I was unable to do as I need a meter reading and the council tax, I need to fill out a form which I have printed off and will return once we are in.
I also need to have a look at what washer/dryer and fridge freezer I want, so I can order them a couple of days before I move in.
I got some curtains for the bedroom in a summer sale and they were half price so I'm very pleased with them.
Everything seems to be coming together at last!
Hope you are all wellMortgage Balance as of Jan 24 £36,500 Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. 2024 Overpayment Challenge: Jan £558.40, Feb £588.11, Mar £497.320
