Potted another 24p last night - wasn't intending to but someone in work found change on their desk and gave it to me so I wasn't going to pass that up!!

I can't count my money so far as in the Terramundi but working it out I have £3.51 - £3.66 plus 24p so that's £57.60! WOW this adds up fast!

I've added £3.66 to my total.

Is that monthly total working backwards from Dec to Jan?

Added another £8.40, split between December and May allocations due to another eBay sale
  • #15 here. A respectable £2.36 transferred today for a total of £26.34 :)

  • Hello, #7 reporting in.

I had to wait to get started due to lack of money so yesterday was catch up time when the first lot of pay arrived.

I've created a spreadsheet to keep track of progress. Basically I listed all the amounts 0.01 up to 3.66, randomised them and linked the randomised numbers to the date.

The spreadsheet total to be transferred for January was £58.45 so that has now been done. Looking forward to seeing the savings mount up :j

It's all gone a bit quieter in here... is everyone doing well with their challenges now we're just over halfway through the first month?

I'm on my last week of my salary month so don't have as much spare this week, so I'll be putting in amounts from the smaller end of the scale - from 15p Today up to 20p on Thursday. When I get paid Friday I'll do some higher numbers again as that worked well for me this month! Loving this challenge!

Hi elsiepac, I'm still here but didn't want to bore you all with my totals on a daily basis! I've been working backwards steadily and have a total of £60.86 with another £3.49 to be added tonight. It's not easy in January but I'll appreciate it in the later months! The thought of a holiday with the proceeds also means I'll keep on keeping on! Thanks again for running the thread! :D xxx

  • I'm still following the thread. I'm loving the challenge - it has helped me rethink my mindset around money. Im excited to put spare money into the savings pot. I'm waiting for pay day on friday to start up again. I put a lot in at the beginning of the week. I'm definitely preferring to do it online - its so much easier to track the amount and to be able to use it to pay off debt.
    Keep going everyone!
