Some more routine payments from me. The overdraft will be the trickiest one because the account still serves as a landing place for all my other payments so it is easy to pay some of it off and let the balance deteriorate again - I have started today with £50 into a savings account specifically to offset the overdraft (I'll be counting this in my total).
#173 Paid £135.85 = £3,065.53 / £5,938
I'm getting quite frustrated with my progress at the moment, I saw great progress in the first half of the year but feel I have stagnated since then. I have last month's holiday purchases to pay for and also had to go on a business trip to Denmark which cost me £400 - I won't get repaid for another month. The exchange rate is not so good at the moment so I am holding back on buying pounds to pay down. So I'm trying to keep up the motivation and not let it all frustrate me too much! If I can make this target by Christmas that is all my consumer debt gone notwithstanding the holiday and business trip and I can start looking towards the future instead of paying for the past.0 -
