    Morning all,

Well still waiting for a start date. No phone calls or letters as yet but I'm sure they will come.
The tax refund has landed this morning so plan to phone SC today and up the payments to creditors by 100 a month.
Hope your all doing ok.. J

I could be useful to put a bit to one side as we had a few nasty bills in the first few months which we had to absorb into our budget.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking pay off the mortgage arrears which takes up half of the tax refund and save the rest as an emergency fund. That frees up an extra 100 we had budgeted for paying the mortgage arrears so we can up the payment to the creditors as its pitifully low at the moment.
The other idea is to leave things as they are for now and use the money to get a little car for work which I will definitely need. Something cheap to run and insure, decisions decisions. The thing is having the car means I can virtually double our income which means we get debt free so much more quickly.
    What would you do ?
