Hi
After 24 years on this planet Ive finally discovered eggs! Ive started eating 2 or 3 each morning which I boil them in a pan.
Is there an easier/cheaper way to cook eggs? Someone told me of a device that can boil and poach eggs. (not sure what the difference is?). Can anyone recommend a device that does this?
Thanks

Boiling normally means cooking them in their shells. Poaching is cooking them after you've taken them out of the shell.
Before buying any special 'device', try a small saucepan (milk pan is about the right size), fill it to a depth of a couple of inches with boiling water and reduce heat so it is just simmering. Add the egg(s) and cook gently for about 3-4 minutes depending on whether you want runny or set yolks.
Ignore all the faff about stirring the water to make a whirlpool effect, adding vinegar etc. If your eggs are fresh (most supermarket eggs are, but check the date) and the water is only simmering gently, all should be well.0 -
2 or 3 each morning? Hope you balance that with your fibre else you'll be back asking for recommendations for constipation relief! 2 or 3 a week would probably be too many unless you combine them with a very heathy diet.0
