England is maybe better then with Extra Mature Cheddar 830g for £2.39?

But no chicken, the wine is Premium South African Chenin Blanc 75cl for £3.49.

Yes the English nature cheese is nice and keeps well for ages just in the fridge.

Yes it usually has a best-before date about 3 months on, and this offer comes up every 3 months!

Yes it is. And it's strong cheddar.

It's sold as strong cheddar, certainly. It's a decent enough cooking cheese but not enough flavour for much else.

I think we’ll have to disagree on that one. I’m particularly fussy about good cheddar cheeses though, and there isn’t a supermarket cheese that cuts the mustard. Proper cheddar straight from the farm - nothing else.

I agree about nothing being like proper cheddar straight from the farm, but if you dont have the budget to eat it often, the Lidl cheese is a good alternative. :)
