Yankee candles offers 9th Dec 12 at 5:41 PM
Just got an email from Yankee candles saying they have a lot of items 50% off, not sure what postage cost is.

Yankee.co.uk and tab for 50% is on the left (can't post link as still not worked out how to do it with an I-pad!).

Votives (original/ classic) seem to RRP around £1.99.

Personally my target price is £1 but I'll go up to £1.25/£1.30.

Happily I found www.yankeebundles.com which is at the lower end

    Quick question...

How well do the large jars burn down? Do they melt back to the sides, if burned for say, 4 to 5 hours at a time.

I've had other various candles and they only ever seem to melt back in a circle about 2inch diameter max (around the wick), therefore wasting wax, if the container/candle is wider than that.

I usually stick to tealights for this reason.
" That pound I saved yesterday, is a pound I don't have to earn tomorrow " JOB DONE!!
This should now read "It's time to start digging up those Squirrelled Nuts"!!!

I personally only buy the melts now though as I think they fill the room with scent just as well and i can chop and change smells more often.

As above, plus don't blow them out until the melted wax has reached the sides (time will depend on the temperature of the room). This will prevent 'tunnelling'.

Has anyone tried the ‘American Home’ brand of Yankee candle?

Is the quality any different to the normal Yankee range?

    TIA 😊

They are called "home inspirations" and are usually sold by supermarkets, a lot cheaper and nowhere near as good.
For the many NOT the few

I have seen the home inspiration ones but I’m talking about the ‘American home’ branded ones I have seen randomly in home bargains. I think they might be foreign stock found in US only, but does anyone know if they’re any good?

Groupon has 4 large jars at moment delivered free for £49:99. Using new customer code for £5 off brings price down to £11:25 each.

Bought 4 with one email address and 4 with an other.
