Best simple calendar/planner for phones? 20th Oct 19 at 10:43 PM
We would like a simple to use calendar where we can put appointments, one off and regular ones on and see it on iPhones6s, iPad and a Macbook.
There are many out there but they seem either too akward to use or cannot be seen on other devices.
    Oh and preferably free!

Doesn't your phone have a built in calendar?

Yes but it keeps popping up reminders all the time with a bell, very annoying! We just want a calendar we can access when needed.

Plus, as far as I can see, it cannot be accessed from a Macbook and the only way to turn off reminders I can see is to remove the listing on the calendar.
so back to my original question can you recommend a calendar????

Google calendar takes some beating. Powerful, good connectivity, easy to share, incorporates reminders etc etc & free

    google calendar for me too.

my wife and I have shared calendars, and she uses an iphone and I use a google phone.

Calendar can be accessed on phone or directly through website.

We have complete control over the notifications although the default is usually with a notification turned on so you will need to figure out how to disable it if you don't want it.
