Cathedral City Cheese (350g) is on offer for 1.89 at Iceland (norm 3). That's 5.40 per kg. This is one of Iceland's 7 Day Deals which are available online from Tuesday and in store from Wednesday.

There's mild, mature, mature lighter and extra mature to choose from. There's also packs of mini mature cheeses (6x20g).

As in you cannot have a product that is sold 90% of the time at an on sale price.

We are looking at you too pringles.

(Spain does not suffer this !!!!, pringles are just over 1 euro all the time)
(And German "sale" lawas are even better, bigger quantities are not allowed to be more cost per X than the small ones, so you cannot sale just one size (not that we have size choices in supermarkets anymore due to product rationalisation)).

Sale or not, it looks to me like quite a good price for mature cheddar.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
