Morning all
Love and thoughts to foxgloves today xxx
Feeling a bit so-so. I think I'm fighting off a cold as my vertigo is playing up and my head feels a bit stuffy. Swerved the gym last night and had an early night! Came downstairs this morning to find that hubby had bought coffee and done all the washing up/drying up/putting away. What a star!
Today's mission:- B/L/D from stores
- OH to do housework hopefully
- Remind OH to drop bag of yarn off to friend
- No alcohol
- Gym at lunchtime - hmmm feeling a bit blegh tbh
- Charge phone in work - done
- Heating on timer. One hour in the morning and one in the evening
- Winter duvet out to go onto the bed later
- Emptied dehumidifier water into "free flush" bucket - done
- Knit sock
- Do end of month budget sheet before payday tomorrow
- Check payslip - done
- Update student loans account (am nearing the end) - done
- Check ebay item. Am gutted as someone offered me a good price but I left my phone at home and missed the acceptance time - done. 3 watchers. Have revised the description to say "offers welcome" and have apologised for the ones missed. I have a bid! Hopefully the first of many!
Have a good one all

Beautiful blue sky here this morning, just having tea and toast in our room before heading out for a walk.
Small things today
* check banking Done
* walk up to l1dl to get food for today, have made a list and will remember to take it with me hopefully!
* play pool with the kids, the 4 of us will play together on one table for an hour for £6 rather then 2 tables for 1/2hr which would cost £7
* go swimming to make the most of the facilities
* make hot drinks into travel cups
* take drinks into the live show tonight
I think thats about it.
Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Still reading along but nothing much to report
Foxgloves thinking of you today x
DNMS many thanks for starting the thread off.
I have been really good, regularly checking banking and all finances.
Have picked up a few bargains that I have put away for next year. I've had 6 birthdays this month, with presents to get for each but u know me when I see something someone will like and it's a really good price and within the budget set then I will get it and pop it away. Always stick to a budget for every person but thinking next year of slightly lowering this. I love a challenge!
My decluttering hasn't really been happening. Living room is still a mess. Have sorted some things out for the charity shop including a prom dress my DB paid £240 for DN 6 years ago. I thought he was bonkers it was just stupid money. Did think about eBay but it is flooded with prom dresses and cheap ones from China and when i sold a bridesmaid dress it was so much hassle so after I became a dumping ground when he moved I have decided it's going to charity.
I do have some items to pop on ebay-will do this tonight.
Also have some charity items for a fundraiser which I am trying to sort out. It's doing me a favour as it always wants cuddly toys for tombolas and DD still has loads I am sorting thru.hoping these will go at the end of the week.
So I am getting there slowly just snail pace.
Food all sorted today-YS items including steak-no doubt the cats will try to mug me!!
Right off to sort the cats out
Have a great day everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Afternoon all
Sending much love to you Foxgloves
Nothing much planned for today, I will do comps/surveys as and when I can.
I have two things to return today (which I almost NEVER do!!). I bought a dress last weekend for a wedding and didn't wear it, and I know I won't wear it again. Normally I would just leave it in the wardrobe, saying 'one day' I'll wear it, knowing full well I'm holding onto it cos I want to wear it, not because I actually will.
So it's going back, and the £20 will be paid off my CC!! (I didn't mean to use my CC, I used it contactless before I realised it wasn't my debit card!).
And a small under £5 return to b&q, again I would normally have kept the item as it 'would come in handy' but not this time!! It's going back today!!
All BLD from stores and banking checked (all fine).
Will need to update my Christmas list and see what else I need, hoping to be done by the end of November so I have time to leisurely wrap it all0 -
Morning all :hello:
Early start as it's my only chance to get to work early and I want to miss traffic. Hope everyone is ok. So far, so good CLF on WGAC but I'll let you know more in a couple of days.
My list :
Check banking and update sheet
Hm curry and frozen naan for lunch (will be defrosted by then :rotfl:)
Hot drink for commute
Dinner from stores
Small at club tonight and we're all going to watch her do something there meaning I don't need to hide behind the closed curtains when trick and treaters come :rotfl:
Watch bake off final on catch up
Make cheap mousse with cottage cheese
Look at November list in my bullet journal and add a few bits
Right, that'll do must be away up the road. Have a good day Purps.0
