Thank you all for popping in, esp. Tilly my MF heroine! xx

We did treat ourselves last night, to a meal out at the local curry house. It's BYO, so an inexpensive night, and the food was delicious. We brought leftovers home too :)

Tilly tidy done of almost £10 - will OP £100 of housekeeping money tomorrow. The washing is on the line :j and we are having M&S food for tea courtesy of our house guest, so an easy cooking night tonight. Have marvellous afternoons all xx

    Hi all :)

OP of £200 made, being leftover housekeeping money from March. DH is away next week so food spends will be significantly lower than normal ;)

I posted a few pages ago about a small business venture I had in mind. Well it has already proved fruitful and I have made a bit of money from it so far, with more customers booked in for the coming weeks. Not masses of money, but enough to top up the "treats" fund.

It is so sunny here, I have washing on the line and more to peg out. Have great weekends all x

    Happy Mother's Day :)

I am typing this in bed with a cuppa by my side, bliss. NSD ahead - we will take a trip to the park, then DH is leaving for work at noon. He's back on Friday, I'll really miss him, but our house guest leaves on Wednesday and I must say I'm looking forward to relaxing in complete peace on Wednesday evening once the children are in bed!

Reading around the forums this weekend, so many people are achieving the goal of being MF, it is extraordinarily motivating :j and inspires us to keep at it, we WILL get there.

    Have fantastic Sundays all xx

Just popping in to say I'm still here :) life has been heeeecctic this week, I literally have no idea where the time has flown to!

Our house guest has gone home so peace reigns. £200 OP made today, and lots of work/housework/decluttering - not bad going to say my hyperactive 3 year old has been at home with me all day!

Tonight is a cheeky takeaway, budgeted for and eagerly anticipated. We hardly ever have them nowadays, but thoroughly enjoy them when we do xx

    Morning all :)

I'm still here, still OPing, just nowhere near as much time to post as normal. We are still on track to be at £125k by the end of June :T which will mean we have used our 10% OP allowance for the year.

Keep on chipping away and being frugal xx

We have dd1 home from uni for 2wks so food shop will be slightly more than usual.
Have decided to get our front garden sorted out, we did plan to complete it last year but couldn't settle on any ideas, so its starting tomorrow, but will take a chunk out of our tesco current account savings.

And now our washing machine is on its way out sounds like I am washing a couple of lump hammers in there. Not bought a new one yet as I have to research and compare then see what cashback/discounts are available and then start over again lol.

Have just signed up to receipt hog will see how that goes.
