  • Sorry, me again.....just had an idea, perhaps Santa could send a Snowman instead of an Elf?

    What do you think?

Disney store this year has Winnie the pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and Stitch possibly a few others dressed up as elves their about £6 for a Beanbag toy or more expensive for a bigger one.
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
  • I found my elves on Ebay, also managed to pick up some last week from a chrisatmas fayre. I introduced the elves for the first time last year and my DD's loved it. My youngest(5) hasn't stopped talking about the elves since they left last year and keeps reminding me that it's not long til they come back. The only downfall last year was that she was so excited to see what mischief the elves had up to in the night that she was getting up at 5am to check.
  • Ohhh love this idea!

I will def be doing this every year now fab idea. I have a 7 month, 5yr, 8yr and 11 yr old so will be great fun with them. It may also encourage some good behaviour in the them in the lead up to Christmas as well as getting us all in the festive mood!

Also i thought for those of you who do or know someone eho deos knit maybe the Christmas Elf could leave each of the children he visits a small knitted 3 inch elf as a present / memento etc...

This sounds like such a good idea, my husband's really getting into it thinking up all kinds of places. I've got the knitting needles clicking at the mo making a cute little elf!

  • after finding this thread i got really excited n started planning adventures..... well i dropped the idea over dinner, that i had spoken to a lady that adopted an elf last xmas and she had said she would give me the details on how to contact santa 4 1.

my 6yr old said "i dont want an elf to come and live with us as it will poo and i will beat it up". the 3yr old said he would like an elf, so i now have probs, if i do it 6yr old not going to be happy, if i dont 3yr old going to be unhappy.
due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
