I'm not sure if I've posted this month yet, we've had a busy few days decorating our bedroom, going for long walks and cycling. Our laptop is hanging on by a thread at the moment so we bought a replacement on Tuesday, we went for one of the smaller ones, I can't quite remember what they call them, so that had to be set up too - why do Microsoft make everything so hard and try to control how you use your equipement?
Ran last night and cycled this morning and have a long dog walk planned for this evening.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi all
Please will you have me back? I know I've been awol for months, but today is marking the start of a new chapter in my life and I'm getting back on the budgeting wagon in a big way. I have separated from my husband (very recently) and now need to learn to budget all over again for me and the kids without his income or expenditure. I just know that I'm scared of getting into debt again, and that I need to reassess our lifestyle and I thought that being back on here might help me.
I know I'm late for this month, and I actually have no idea about our budget, but I would love to tag along if you'll have me. I will aim to keep a spending diary, and to get as many nsd's as I can. I want to spend the next couple of months finding out where I'm at financially. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Had lunch with a friend which was £8.80
I should be set for the week now but we will see.No Spend November 2/15 and SPC 1340 -
Nipped into the £ shop on the way to work and got a gazillion packs of winders and some school bars and some packs of mixed nuts. I spent £13 and reckon I've saved around £20 compared with buying the same in sainz. I am wearing my smug face!
Today I am grateful fo £ shop finds, for specsav3rs adjusting my specs, for grapes from the f+ v stall, for good times with my y11s, for dh doing as told and staying home when he could, for finding a couple of rings in the ch shop, for the parking machine giving tickets based on money inserted rather than making you pay for whole hours, for the difference pesto makes to dry chicken.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

And am suffering with bad hips since. I did do Parkrun last Sat but ended up walking some. I'm going to running club tonight to see how I am. There's a local race on Monday and I really want to be well enough to compete, we'll see.
My foot is still hurting from my Brighton marathon the weekend before the london. I'm hoping it's not a hairline fracture! It doesn't hurt enough for my to want to sit for hours up at the hospital. If it's still sore in a few weeks I'll go to the drs and request an x-ray.
Money: know your income and outgoings. Last of the DD's came out this morning, budgets updated.
Me time: Look after yourself. Revive an old hobby. Exam practice. Had my lesson today, had a bit of run with some play-along backing cds.
Move: Trainer had double booked me, so no PT for me today. Took pup for a walk with the bestie.
Activation: What spurs you on to keep on the path? Watching some 'extreme weightloss' on youtube for 'thin'sparation.
Arm yourself : Whether you opt to work more or to spend less in order to achieve your goal, stand firm against the naysayers. No spends today, and a couple of surveys done.
Planned spends this month - £20 tattoo deposit.

You. Appreciate what you have. Be grateful. Today I am grateful for a day off and a lie-in with the pup.
