Well, I haven't bought any more stash (though I am tempted by a new pair of pinking shears) but I'm having my usual dither about projects so haven't actually finished anything yet.

Unfortunately, I'm also wanting to make myself a denim pouffe/footrest thing, having uncovered my stash of old jeans.......

No, I will be strong and knit tonight in front of the telly, and drag the sewing machine out tomorrow to sew the skirt.

Stay strong Wraithlady - you can do this :T

At least you have found something you want to make out of your stash so that's brilliant news :j

  • Oh, finding things to make has never been a problem!

Investing the time and energy to both start and finish the things I want to make, however .... :)

But thank you for the encouragement, craftingmad

So far this week I have finished off two notebooks. (My craft room is filled with paper supplies) and as such I am counting when I actually use stationery as something used up. I seem to actually finish a notebook at the rate of one per year and then use one per year. So finishing two is a step forward. I also have massive writing so it doesn’t take too long. And while I can get pads at work I need to downsize the stash.

I have spent this morning making four notebooks with my cinch. I have used up odds and ends of note books and some loose papers. I seem to refuse to finish off notebooks if their use changes for some reason. One of the finished ones was used at work this week for phone messages so will take more for through the month.

I then cut my hand with my craft knife so am taking a break.

I will finish cleaning the oven. Yay.

    The hob is clean.

    The glass door is clean.

The oven door is closed and the rest can wait. Haha

I have made two more note books with my cinch. Yay.

I have made another two notebooks. Yay.

Also got rid of a load of old bobbins that don’t fit my machine.

Moved on Machine needles that are the wrong size.

Sold an industrial sewing machine - haven’t used it in six years. May one day regret it as it’s a work horse. But sooooooo happy to have the space back. (Only for £35 but it needed to go).

    Adding five to my total.

    15/ 400.

  • Thanks craftingmad for setting this up.
I'd like to join again this year and will try and post more (I said that last year!).
I did make 105/150 last year but will try to do 150 this year.
I am going to start to run some monthly craft classes so will try and use up my stash in those as there is so much.

I'd like to join in please. I will have a think about my number of makes.

I have so much papercrafting stuff that I could make something everyday and still have loads left!! I am very motivated to buy it but not so good at using it.

    Hi tigger mad

I get that. I have boxes of stuff to use. Masses of papers and things to use up. I like to save it all for best and then never use it up. This is the focus. I’m even being harsh and trying to then use up the things I make. It’s great to make journals and note pads or cards but then they need to get used up too or at least leave the house for some reason.

I’ve stopped using pads etc from work and have been taking in my stash.

Hope you’ve all been crafty and busy.
