    IM HERE!!!

Im here ready to start all over again.

Sue-UU, I have found a mistake in your first post, you need to change the date to 2018.

The idea is to save as much as possible throughout the following year until just before Christmas - which this year will be to open our pots on Thursday the 1st November 2017. We save it in pots that we've pre-sealed to stop us being tempted to open them. Any spare cash can be put away, every day/week/month, whatever is best for you. If you have change left over after you've been shopping - pop it in the pot! After all why not! However small the change...the likelihood is that it won't be missed, and might otherwise have been wasted!

I have entered my declaration for SPC ~ 10 on its thread.

    LETS GO :-)

  • Morning everyone.

Well I've started with £15 going into my pot. I'm giving myself a weekly budget and any leftovers go in the pot at the weekend. Very frugal week so far, so in it has gone.

    Enjoy the weekend.

My silver pot is up and running with a paltry 30p, how hollow and empty did my poor pot sound with that echoey clunk :( Coffee tub number 2 is on the side waiting for me to wash it out for the £1 coins and £land tin sits waiting for its first lovely £2 coin. I even had the awesome thought to LABEL each pot so I remember which ones which :D We found a few silvers in the gold tin this year :rotfl:

Excellent work with sticking to a tight budget, ETO, all best wishes in coming out well as a result this time next year! £15 is a marvellous start, and more than I have!!!! :j

There's nothing paltry about having potted 30p, jakes-mum, it's still money saved ....and will soon have more friends the way you shop!!!:rotfl: I don't need to label my pots the amount to go in each is mentally engrained! ;)
Have a really SUPER WEEKEND folks, and never stop filling those pots!!

    Hey All... :D

Yes I'm afraid you'll have to put up with me again this Year...LoL...But hopefully I'm not too much hard work :D:D:D

So I started off my new Tin with a nice £5 Note today and then a £1 coin in my Coin Counter Jar that Mum got me a couple of Christmas's ago....So I'm off the mark!!

I'm hoping to do better this coming Year....things have really picked up for me in the last couple of months...I'm not saying it's always easy but it IS better than it has been...Long may it continue (should I say *Touch Wood* just in case?!?!?).

Looking forward to more and more Savings over this coming Year... xXx :)
