    For the last few days

    Wins

    1) Saturday was a NSD
    2) Had a lovely weekend with friends and family
    3) Feel rested and relaxed
    4) Lovely piping hot bubble bath with a candle and some music
    5) Saving up the chocs on my advent calendar accidentally...yum
    6) Early xmas gifts that make me smile
    7) Free dinner tonight
    8) Forgetting some lovely soft drinks in the fridge....expensive but bought on offer....then discovering them
    9) Garden looking relatively tidy for the frost and cold months ahead
    10) Admin gremlin defeated
    11) £48 refund received
    12) Fresh flowers from BF still going strong with a little sugar solution they should make it through a few more days
    13) Lovely thinking about planning for 2015 and 2016- lots of progress and changes and exciting steps in the pipeline

    Losses
    1) it's Sunday night- meaning Monday morning blues are setting in. But a hectic week ahead will keep me busy and before I know it it'll be the weekend- got a nice quiet one planned after a week jam-packed with socialising and xmas nights out.

For a money saving diary- that last post was suspiciously devoid of any step towards my DFD!

So to silence my guilty conscience, PAD of £5.67 to a CC made. Also setting up that card and another onto my online banking so I can make PAD to them via my banking app as I do all others.

    Baby steps!

And ordered a new card-reader from the bank as mine is caput- so no setting up CCs on my app unless I phone up. Will be with me in a few days apparently.

    Wins
    1) Lovely dinner with a friend. Both talking through our plans and lots of positivity from both of use- all very uplifting
    2) Productive day- managed to get loads of little jobs done and crossed off the list
    3) Forced myself to do my 3 urgent errands- even though it was pitch black and freezing I did- makes tomorrow a little less hectic
    4) Feeling very loved and looked after by BF- he's a thoughtful and conscientious chap, we make a good team
    5) Earning much needed pennies for upcoming travel adventures with second job. Almost 25% towards monthly target
    6) Spreading joy amongst friends with little gifts- something that cost time and effort rather than pennies

    Losses
    1) Pricey dinner- £16.40 out of my purse and onto my hips
    2) Have not eaten well today...silly girl. Not enough freshness and vitality
    3) Losing my positivity- the constant stream of events, commitments, work deadlines, chores, things to remember etc has caused me to stumble a little today. I am refocusing on what is going well.

It is absolute freezing today. Fluffy and fleecy essentially sums up my current wardrobe efforts. As ever, praying for snow in the vain hope it will afford me a day off work...I can but dream! The countdown to Xmas freedom is on, I can escape to sunnier climes and really recharge my batteries. I have a whole stack of lovely books to work my way through too which is always a good thing.

Should really think about what I want to achieve jobs wise tomorrow but my eyelids have become heavy all of a sudden, the land of nod beckons. So will try to get up the first time the alarm rings (not my strong suit) and think through with a nice strong java.

    Night all,

    Shoes

Thanks, I'm really having to focus on what is working well....otherwise I feel like everything is conspiring against me. So even if it's just 5 minutes with a cuppa, I'm trying to be appreciative! No more woe is me!

Welcome aboard my diary! Do you have one I can read?

I do! Im on a bit of a mission myself.

I take time out to appreciate things too. Earl Grey tea makes all things better. I also like to think how Im totally self sufficient and what I have around me, my flat + car are all mine, I fund these things. I tend to feel a bit proud. :)

Oooooo Earl Grey- now there's an idea.

My current idea is to start tomorrow off with some breakfast tea and homemade mince pies for breakfast. Balanced diet and all that. But now you've got me thinking...decisions, decisions.
