Help - building insurance house has old subsidence

Hi

I am currently buying a house that has very old subsidence and isnt underpinned - can anyone advise anyhere to try for insurance pls? its a victorian terraced house.

    I find that some insuers are willing to take these on, on site of a suitable specialist report ( which implies no further risk)- allow yourself some time for a reply.

    Also some lenders inhouse insurers can be a bit more willing - albeit prices not always the best . OR the if curently insured, its usual practice ( but not obliged) for that insurer to offer new purchaser cover

    that said resale can always be a problem
