RBS loan setup

Hi, I applied for an RBS loan on Saturday night. Was told only that I’d been accepted and would receive funds in 2 working days.

Today (Tuesday) I receive a text asking me to provide proof of income, wageslips etc, which I wasn’t expecting on the basis that I’d clearly been accepted, however I have now provided the required info.

My question is - does anybody know:
A) how likely it is I will be accepted providing RBS can validate my wages
B) how long they usually take to process this documentation? I know their stance is 3-5 working days, but can it usually be quicker or take longer?

Thanks

    1) very likely
    2) yes
  • Thanks for your response. 24 hours after I submitted my wageslips I received another email telling me my income could not be verified and to send in my bank statements ... which I did and was given 2 different timeframes - within 1 working day, or 3-5 working by days. That was Wednesday afternoon and I haven’t heard anything since so I suspect it’s a decline. :(
