Post office broadband?!

I'm looking to switch broadband provider.

I'm currently with BT but the price just creeps up and up and is ridiculous. I live rural so my options are limited, no fibre or cable

Is post office broadband any good as it's a possible contender
I used to have talk talk but speed was rubbish
LBM.....sometime in 2013 £27,056. 10 creditors
June 20.....£7,587.....3 creditors left 72% paid

£26,200 on interest only part of mortgage (July 16)...will chip away £17,103
£49,200 repayment mortgage ( July 16) £37,764

It is indeed, I worked on some of the back office systems to implement this a few years ago.

So likely to have the same rubbish speed?

My kids used to sort out the deals for me but they left home now :(

When does your BT contract end ??

If its near end then price up ISPs for the deal you want and tell BT you are leaving due to price .See what they will offer .

If your only option is ADSL then the speed won't change regardless of who you take, given your location the best you can do is look for the best deal for you and then recheck before the end of the contract. If you do find any good deals you could use that when speaking to BT but don't cancel if you want to keep your number and avoid a potential line re-activation fee. Let your new supplier manage the change over.

Standard broadband unlimited with phone package nearly £50 per month!

Out of contract but need to keep landline number
Have a few options to throw at them when I ring later to see if they can do a cheaper deal

well don't worry if they won't do a deal.

It's best to leave them and get a better deal for the long term.
