£9.08 of £co cashback winging its way to current account as we speak. That will be promptly dispatched to mortgage. Every little helps!

93p TT this morning and then an afternoon in the garden and at the park with the tribe of children! Makes a lovely change to be hot, rather than dithering and soaked!

Quite excited to see my S&S Isa is fully up an running online and the transferred amount has been invested. Only £436 to start with but interested to see how it all goes. I'll be adding £30 a month to it for now and then we'll see how things work out.

Countdown now starts to accounts posting, but before that i have the little matter of MFiT challenge. My last OP for the next chart is tomorrow, so i'll get that form submitted in the morning.

Following some talk on another thread about food budgets and reducing number of shops Mrs SJ has come up with a plan to only have 3 shops per month instead of 4, but for the same weekly budgeted amount. I suspect there's an ulterior motive, but happy for now with her plans.

Tryharder - she is good to be fair, 90% of the time...like us all probably!

Well a nice £1 TT this morning taking the weekly pot to £5.03. Promptly OP'd the pot, and then headed over to submit my MFiT chart number 9 update.

I was just wondering if anyone out there fancies swapping Sunday outdoor job duties today?? I've got fence painting if anyone has sitting in the sun drinking tea and snoozing, and they fancy a swap deal?

We've got digging out some borders, planting some bushes (and a tree) and a little bit of tree pruning - all of which is still preferable to your fence painting! :D (We have a whole garden's worth - front and back - to do of that too - but we're ignoring it! :D:D)

After reading a fair bit of what seemed like gobbledy-gook, and then reading the S&S ISA guide on MSE i opted for Evestor (only 12 months into the market). My plan is to dip my toe in for 12 months, see how the things actually work, and then consider different providers. They seem to be one of the cheapest for costs for the start ups. In the first few years of this investing thing this company may be enough for my small amounts anyway.

    What are you thinking ATB?
