We have a small bathroom about 2x3 metres. We are planning on having it completely refurbished. Be bath, toilet, sink, cupboards, flooring, heated radiator.
Been quoted just over £6k for labour and items for about a week's work. All project managed by the company. I thought it was a bit expensive but they are a good tradesman who will do everything till the end.
Is this considered expensive? Are there any good reputable bathroom companies I could get quotes from? I think the labour about 4k but there no breakdown on this but overall cost.

I think £5k is the starting point for a decent quality product and job.
No national company is going to do a better job than a good local company for the same price.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I'm getting quotes at the moment for my own bathroom and I'm buying as much as I can myself, we are doing the work ourselves to strip out the old bathroom so they'll start with a blank canvas. I've got decent but not high end bath, shower, toilet, vanity unit, tall unit, small floor unit and large mirrored wall unit for within a few £s of £2k. Wall tiles will be roughly £400 for half wall on most walls and full height for the shower, £200 for floor tiles (the ones I want are in a 50% off sale)
So far for Labour I've had quotes of £1200 (not keen on this guy), £1900, and £2300 with a few more quotes to come in over the next few days. We've budgeted £2k for the labour so will choose the cheapest that seems most reliable. I basically want the whole thing done for £5k or less but still want a decent job done. Our room is larger than yours and is just a touch under 3x3 metres. 6k for a fully managed fit seems reasonable in comparison0 -
We are pricing up a 2m x 3m bathroom ourselves, retiled, underfloor heating, large walk in shower, new toilet, sink, and cabinets etc. We've budgeted approx £2,000 for the parts alone, without any labour costs0

There's spam, and then there's Australian spam.
I'd like to see them quote for a UK bathroom on that budget.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
