    Interesting question

    I would say:

    1. Home. I'm very happy here and as much I love travelling the world I love our little corner of it more.
    2. Wales we have some fantastic family and friends here. Who cares if it rains as soon as you hit the Welcome to Wales sign, it's all about the company!
    3. My sisters house, up north. I adore spending time with her regardless of where she lives (she moves every few years for work)

I've been fortunate enough to travel to some amazing places so if i'm just picking from them i'd say:

    1. Bandera, Texas. Cowboy capital of the world.
    2. Norway
    3. Austin, Texas

As do we, & we were trained to cheer at the sign of the Red Dragon! (Now, I do it to annoy my offspring, as a bonus.)

Funnily enough, they quite like visiting the local pub called (remarkably) the Red Dragon. A son is planning a holiday there with friends & bikes -after the unfortunate misunderstanding in France, I think I may require him to wear some hi vis.

I could understand paying to get out. But paying to get in?
At least if you don't want to pay, you can drive the long way round and have a chance to change your mind ....
