Oofy omtimistic Octobers NSD challange. 1st Oct 18 at 4:27 PM
This challenge is about setting yourself a weekly / monthly target of how many No Spend Days you would like to try and achieve during the month of October.
Keep us updated with your progress and hope you all enjoy the challange.

    To join,
just post your personal target and you are on your way.

    Tips for the challenge;
    1. Decide on a clear goal weekly or monthly of how many No Spend days you'd like to try and achieve

    2. Create a list of allowances...What counts as a spend and what doesn't. Keep the list on you so you don't fall of the wagon or make exceptions for everything

    3. Keep a tally of how many NSDs you get. See if you can beat your previous amount!

    We CAN do it.

A big thanks to Nargleblast for the great suggestion of the word oofy~~

    Chandelier.
So I'm ready to report back for my NSDs so far since starting on Sunday.

    Sunday: NSD
    Monday: NSD
    Tuesday: NSD

So that's 3/15 so far. I'm hoping to drag out a couple more if possible this week and try to do everything at once.

I'm also trying not to use my debit card at the same time and keeping an eye on the money in my purse.

It's my sisters wedding on Saturday where I will be bridemaid so trying to keep enough money aside for that.

I've had a spend day today, but by working out exactly what I needed and being focused I'm amazed at how much more organised I feel.

Not a NSD today as I went into town to collect a book I ordered for our friends' daughter's 11th birthday (The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett) and did some odds and sods shopping at the same time. I also have some planned spends tomorrow, but I expect Thursday onwards to be swimming in NSDs.

How do you all define a NSD? Do you include budgeted food/petrol as a spend?

I'm just not sure how to work somethings out. There are things I have already budgeted for that I put the money to one side until payment is due. These include food/petrol spends, extra curricular activities etc

Spend day today as I got to the gym and realised I hadn't brought any tights for work so had to dive into Tesco's and pick some up or else have cold bare legs all day!

The dye was okay, had to get a darker shade than the one I wanted, so it's a dark blonde but it'll go to a nice colour after a few washes

A planned spendy day for me as the car is coming back from the garage today and I know I will have to put fuel in it. So in an effort to make tomorrow and NSD I also popped to Icel&nd to get milk and top up the freezer with fruit and veg for SW, before work.

I have a 2.00 bonus and 10% off for getting a clubcard for them through SW, so made the most of it! I now have enough loo roll until the end of Nov
