    How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

    I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

    There are worse local newspapers than poor quality/loads of adverts.

    There are ones that are extremely biased to (a particular group of) local people.....instead of actually being a "proper newspaper"

    Not what I would call a 'HIGHLY EXECUTIVE FINISH' as the estate agent calls it, but then again it does have a Large brick paved DIVE (albeit full of weeds) and a LAW area at the back (which probably hasn't seen a mower this year.
    However it does have an exceedingly high wall cupboard in the kitchen and the Gym really has wow factor.

    Also, if I ever put a property on the market for a million pounds, I'm going to have the pictures taken by someone who isn't my dog using something that isn't a potato.

    Not only that it is very expensive for the local area. Saltburn is just up the road from Redcar, former British Steel/ SSI effected region. I think they would struggle to sell.

    It is, indeed, a truly horrible carpet. Perhaps it is such good condition despite the horribleness, that they just can't bear to replace it and are moving to get away from it.

    Good point - think you'd be looking at dismantling the whole kitchen if/when the cooker or washing machine goes. I was more concerned about getting into it in the first place as someone who is a little, *ahem*, bottom-heavy...
