Should I get a stainless steel or a chrome bathroom radiator?

Hi all! I’m currently renovating our small bathroom at home and I’m looking for an efficient radiator that can double as a towel dryer. A friend of mine recommended this provider of designer bathroom radiators because she said that they have the product I’m looking for. I checked their website and I saw that they have chrome and stainless steel radiators. Which one do you think is worth purchasing? Thanks in advance!

If you can afford it, go with the stainless steel. Chrome plated will eventually rust, and if it is poor quality plating, very quickly.

Stainless steel might not have the same shine as chrome, but five years down the line, it will still look good.

    Another vote for steel:
We've had chrome in our bathroom for 10 years and the plating has been flaking at the joints and rust coming though for a few years now.
We had brushed steel radiators fitted in our lounge at the same time and they still look perfect, when I wipe the dust off :)

Flaking of chrome or white towel rails is down to humidity within the bathroom, the more humid the quicker it happens. Open a window when you shower or bath and for 10 minutes afterwards and your towel rails will often stay looking good for a long time.
