Believe it or not, there is life outside of google.
Actually there is life outside of the internet too!
Very true!
In which case I'd like to say:
"Any truth in the rumour I heard that RHE are going.... to land some merry men on the moon?
Someone mentioned Ebico might be.... winning the 4x 100m relay at Tokyo 2020."
This is a fun game to fill the summer holiday with"In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -
I'm shortly moving and going into sheltered accommodation. Happily, heating and hot water will be included in the rent I pay.
This means I will no longer have a personal gas supplier or have to worry or concern myself with all the manoeuvrings that have attended the "no standing charge" issue.
Which is fine by me.0 -
I still can't find anything on the web of this information yet.
And still no merry men landing on the moon. Disgraceful
Sometimes we have to take things read on the internet with shovelfuls of salt.
Sometimes there is a grain of truth in a rumour, but things change. Who knows."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -
Any truth in the rumour I heard that RHE are going bust?
Someone mentioned Ebico might be up for sale soon.
Just enter "Nottingham" in "search this thread" in this very thread and it's not difficult to deduce that it was originally in an article in the "Nottingham Post" which has since been pulled. Highlighted was the fact that while the Ebico tariff was low, RHE customers were hit with a 17% price hike. It was deduced that RHE customers were then financing the Ebico lower prices because RHE couldn't afford it. RHE's statement was rather questionable in that the price rises were due to industry-wide price rises. However that explanation was accepted by the media including M.S.E:

I repeat what I have posted earlier in several threads: The effect of Ebico dumping its WHD customers is not clear at this time. It could be that the actual number of customers making the switch to Ebico/RHE is lower than they expected. In that case Ebico customers might experience a price hike in common with RHE customers when the guarantee runs out in December. But that's speculation based on fact.0
