    Since reading these posts I have decided to overpay my mortgage by £160 a month and if I keep the payments up it will reduce my 33 year year term mortgage by 8 years! Amazing

    For 2018? :D
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
    New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!

    No 82 with my last overpayment of £6020.44, thats my mortgage paid off now 13 years early :) Thanks for the encouragement along the way and good luck everyone!
