unpaid wages

Hi, Can anyone advise. Have worked for this company for 2 years but resigned in Sept due to difference of opinion. I thought working 60 hrs per week was too much and they wanted more. Agreed to stay till end Of Oct. Due to be paid Sept wages on 15th Oct but a director drew £5k from business acoount so no money for wages. They stopped trading on the 15th Oct.They have now said they are going into administration. Officially they have said they will try and pay every employee but nothing as yet.
It seems they are trying to get every penny from creditors, pay their debts then go into administration when there is nothing left.
2 weeks have gone by but they are still not in administration and I know they have received some money from customers. They currently owe me £5,5k in wages, holiday pay and expenses but I can't see me getting anything.
Anyone any suggestions as to what I can do?

Hi Sanpedro - we'd urge you to contact your local bureau and arrange to talk to an adviser for advice on your rights and next steps. We have limited information on our Adviceguide website, and it may be better to go over all the details with an adviser. Our bureaux also have access to a specialist team for employment issues, and can call on their help if needs be.
