HI I PUT IN FOR PPI FOR LOANS and credit cards last year but Lloyds said they couldn't find anything even though I provided card numbers.
so I tried again 6 weeks ago and had a phone call about the credit cards.
I had a limit of £7k and was up to its limit at the time.
they said I should receive a letter by the 4th of january.
does anyone have any idea how much I should receive?

Why do you think you were missold PPI?
You don’t just claim anything.0 -
Thanks for your response. Isn’t really relevant to the question I was asking however :money:0

It'll be somewhere between £0 and £12,384,726.47. Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.0

Depends how much ppi you paid and it is totally relevant what Edi81 asks you as if they do not think you were misold (ie you were totally aware you were paying ppi and chose to do so) then you will not get a positive outcome.
Also is the account now cleared? This can affect if you are due any payment as if there is still anything owed on the card any redress will go to clearing the balance first.
There are so many possible outcomes so with anything like this it is best to expect nothing back then if you do get anything it is a bonus. No claim is guaranteed a return£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -

:rotfl:No one here can even guess, because no one here has clue how much ppi you paid, when you paid it, over how long, how long ago . .
If your complaint is upheld, you'd receive the sum paid, plus interest (8% simple)0 -

Best guess £0.
You only get to make one PPI complaint. You made one "last year" and it was rejected. Normally, any repeat complaint will produce the same result.
What was said during that phone call that leads you to believe otherwise?0 -

IF you had PPI
IF they agree you were miss-sold
IF they have any records proving you paid it
Then you get a refund of the payments you made, plus 8% simple interest and any associated interest that you paid on the PPI premiums. PPI was typically around 70-80p per £100 of debt0
