  • Morning,
Yesterday was a supply day - so more money in the pot next week (wooohoooo)
It was a nsd - wooohoooo
I skimmed some sinking fund money to aid the mop pot - woohoo
My p60 arrived for my main job, so I can crack on with my tax return - I will be due a refund. It's not as much as I hoped it would be, but it's better than nowt!
    Wish.

  • Evening all, what beautiful day, and I was stuck in the office all day. I sat down at 8:15 am and, except for 2 knocks in the door (postman & energy company persuader) I didn't leave my desk until 4:30. I've got loads done, which is good as I'm on holiday next week.

It has been a nsd, in fact I've not even checked the bank accounts today - must rectify that to make sure all is well.

Pressure washing the yards tomorrow. Then, that's another week over.

  • Well, the yards didn't get pressure washed yesterday due to an injury I did to myself lifting the hose out of the cellar. Job for tomorrow hopefully - if hubby will take small out of the way for a few hours.

Today was an unexpected nsd as the friends we went to the beach with paid for the 'end of the day' ice creams and parking was free as we're NT members (£7.50 if you are not and the queues were still miles down the road. Crazy!!!)

Yesterday was not a nsd as I hit the supermarkets hard for food and presents. All a little bit crazy.
Oh well. It's Easter. Have a good one everyone.

Thank you, it makes me smile too, when the amount i owe reduces and I effectively steal interest payments from the bank.

  • a gorgeous day here in the 'normally rainy north west' I attempted to pressure wash the back yard and just sprayed mud everywhere.
Pickle's water table has been set up for the summer.
Bbq with friends for the afternoon in the gorgeous weather. Our contribution was meat from the freezer so ...
    And other NSD wooo hooo.
Maybe tomorrow too (it's Easter Sunday after all!)

  • Morning, quick pop in to say Happy Easter and to ask any readers/commentators/lurkers out there:

Why has NatWest put £100 in my new account?

I'm doing the switch deal, but my understanding is I'll get £125 once I've put £1500 into the account, which I haven't yet (I've still got time before the deadline)

There is nothing in the ts & cs that refers to this mystery money.

I'm not ynabbing it yet until I know it's mine.

    Thank you all.

    Wish.

  • Evening all, another nsd here. Woohooo. Doing well with over a week to go!

A very relaxed Easter Day here. Hubby has been very frugal with my Easter egg, just need to remind him that I don't like cheap chocolate. Mr 'glass and a half
Of milk' only please. Maybe I'll eat the one I bought him!

£1.50 from tcb has cleared. All I had to do was snap the receipt from the shop I did where I bought hubby's Easter egg. So, that's been claimed and added to the mop pot.

Oh well! Another holiday day tomorrow!

Morning wishing, hope all is well :) you have inspired me to look into bank switching again, I’ve not done that for ages.

My dh was also “frugal” with the Easter eggs - ie. he didn’t get me one! I don’t blame you switching his with yours :rotfl:
