Update on 128 savings.... £600 for March only!!
Hey guys been off the forum for a bit.... manic few months which meant I have only managed to save £600 since January. This is mainly down to car insurance being due, excess on my motorbike after wiping it out and booking the annual holidays so not much progress on the savings front..... On the up side I shouldn't have anything else to pay out this year and my bonus is paid out at work at the end of April so this should help in bringing up my savings and allowing me to get hard at it!!
Happy savings folks!!Missy83

Hi everyone,
A late update to the forum yet again - although I did remember to send through my update form!
I think I managed to save £350 this month (can't remember off the top of my head!) which I'm actually quite pleased with considering it was my boyfriend's birthday & we had a surprise visitor to stay!
I definitely over-spent in March, but I'm keen to keep a clear eye on my outgoings this month. Whilst I haven't saved perhaps the figures I had in mind when I started the challenge, I think it's been such a great focus and I'm hoping going forward I can better my savings.
Hope everyone is having a great month so far :j0 -

Have just submitted my March total of -£200
This is due to OH spending on car parts for his Morris Minor rebuild, plus some unavoidable plumbing work.
Hopefully I can do better next month!Save In 2018 #1090 -
