Its one of them jobs that is not as common as other i think thats why you have not anyone comment, the best thing to do is get 2 more quotes and compare them then you will have a better idea

from an mse point of view - If you can get someone who is not vat registered then that could shave a few £'ss of the quote £800 just in vat alone ouch, pay tax when you earn pay tax when you spend rant over lol
People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. We want the biggest house, fanciest car, and we don't mind paying the sky high mortgage to put up that show. We sacrifice our biggest assets our health and time, We feel happy when we see people look up to us and see how successful we are”

PVA is not generally recommended for exterior use and most would use either an SBR or a specialist render primer.

Note - There are a few exterior grade PVA primers, but a decent SBR isn't much more expensive and is less likely to fail.

    Hope this helps.
We live on south coast and have fairly large 4 bed semi. We have just had the whole top half of the house done as follows
    Removed pebbledash
    Rerendered
    £3300 ( mates rates )
Other non mates estimates were 4850 ( didn’t include removing pebbledash ) and 6600 ( including removal )
Also factor in scaffolding as most wont do without it. Mates rates again cost us £600 but was quoted £1500 non mates rates.
Guttering - yet again another mate is doing all guttering at cost for about 250 to 300 incl down pipes. Any questions ask
