Small Lakes/Peaks/Dales wedding tips?

My OH and I have decided to start wedding planning! We would really like something countrysidey, small (max 45) and low key that we can tailor to ourselves this Autumn 2019 (neither of us want to spend forever planning and this would really set my anxiety off!). Is this massively unrealistic?

I've had a quick look on wedding sites for venue ideas, but most seem to be for big events, in big venues and with things included that we don't necessarily want or can't tailor much to us. I was just wondering if anyone has experience of getting married in the Lakes/Peaks/Dales and has any tips for finding small venues, keeping it low key, amazing experiences they had, suppliers etc?

Our wedding reception was in Derbyshire and a couple of things we saved a lot on was cars and band. I found this really cute local jazz band, basically old men who gathered in this pub once a month. But they were amazing, really talented, full of character and wore proper black tie - it was fab. And a fraction of the cost. We then had a DJ too which was only about £250. I also found a local person who happened to have a vintage white car, £200 I think, they dressed up nicely as our driver for the day!
