Selling your crafts for charitu

Hello,

I have been making Christmas decorations that I’d like to sell at a local stall for charity this Christmas. Does anyone know if I can do that or are there licences I need or things I need to be registered with?

Thanks

Have you looked for any general craft fairs that need stall holders?
Any particular charity you wish to raise funds for?
Do they host their own craft fairs/Christmas events?

In the run up to Christmas there are often school Christmas Fairs, Town Hall Fairs, etc.

You apply directly to the people running the event.

They should send you paperwork detailing what you get i.e. table size, set up/put away times, total cost. If insurance is included etc.

Licence - unsure as it may depend on what you are selling.

Have you gone to any craft fairs to see what other people make & sell? Sadly not all crafts sell well, no matter how much time & effort has been put into them, or how lovely they may be.
Lurking in a galaxy far far away...
  • I don't think so. I think you just apply at the fair itself. Go for it!
