Wanted : Basic mobile for my child & tracker

I’m looking for a basic cheap mobile phone for my son who will be attending secondary school. Smart or non smartphones.

Can you recommend an app &/device that can allow me to track or see where the phone owner is? This is so that I can see where my son is when he’s with the phone.

    I’m looking for as cheap as possible. Under £10. It might have to be more if I’m going to install the tracker app.

    IF you want a tracker on a phone it needs the following:
    - Data plan
    - GPS
    -Smart (obviously)
    - and a big battery or the GPS and data upload will kill it very quickly.
