    Hi

I'd like to do this one too, 2008 will be a bit more expensive for me so if I start saving now the better!

I definately like the sound of this challenge! I will be joining in definately..... I intend to save money towards Xmas next year, plus buy as many presents as I can afford in the new year.... the rest will be throughout the year..... hopefully ofset by eBay sales/surveys/Boots points etc.... My challenge will start on Boxing day :D

    Sarah x

PS - Please Mods, I know its Christmas related, but keep this on the DFW boards..... maybe a link from the Xmas boards would be good Choc?

What a great idea. I'm up for the challange, but not sure if I can manage totally "free" - I can definitely do "as humanly cheap as possible though" :D I've actually already started for next year :o with some fab 3 for 2s and drastically reduced stuff in boots. I have over £100 of boots points which I'm planning on spending in the sales after xmas and had already decided that any quidco money / piggpoints vouchers would be going towards next year's xmas.

    Bring it on :rotfl:

I'd forgotten about Boots points. Thanks!

I am def up for this one - plans so far are:
    • use nectar points/clubcard points for magazine subscriptions for xmas pressies
    • use boots points and try and do my shopping on triple points days!
    • get back into the clicking habit
    • save pigsback vouchers
    • do more surveys - I never quite got into this before.
    • recycle gifts that I am given that I don't need
    Happy free Christmas everyone :xmastree:

For anyone who does online grocery shopping, if you go through www.mysupermarket.co.uk you get 2 ipoints for every £1 you spend which over the year should be enough to get a pressie or two for free
    hth :D
