Q about universal credit and hours worked

Hi,

I might need to change over to universal credit soon, and I'm just wondering how it works regarding hours worked?
My contract says I work 32 hours a week, but in reality it's more like 50/60 (common in my field). Would I still be expected to job search for 3 hours to make it up to 35 hours?

It is not hours, but earnings that is important.

What are your average monthly net earnings ?

Do you live with a partner, as their earnings are also considered ?
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

Hi, average monthly earnings are £1400. I do have a wife who is a sahm (recently had a baby).

Neither you nor your partner would need to attend the Jobcentre with earnings of that level. They should just pay you a little top up depending on your award elements and monthly earnings
