Whenever I've changed supplier NM I've gone with the new company. They have then sorted the changeover with the old company. I've never dealt with the old company except to supply end readings. Only when I'm out of contract though.

All I can say it it was like I was suffocating. My stomach was sucking in the breath and I felt like my respiration rate was slowing down. With pneumonia, specifically when I had the double effusion, it felt like that but the respiration rate was fast then. I just dunno. It just doesn't sound like text book heart, asthma or chest infection.

Wow. Beta blockers are connected with anaphylaxis. Who knows eh? Thanks WCS :)

So have I fuddle but you can't do that when they owe you £800 or you will never see it again. If the new company never contacts you, you have to call them and then they say your present provider objected. It got in a right mess last year. I only just managed to get my details changed on MSE cheap energy club this morning about a year since the mess I have been trying to sort for a year. If your present supplier will not allow you to do a formal complaint you are up the creek without a paddle.

When I had all that bother with Npower I moved to OVO and they put in the formal complaint to Npower. It still took them over a year to sort the problem. OVO would not let me move my account to this address. I think at the time They could not change my meter.

I have had trouble with energy suppliers ever since power was denationalised. I have had a bad move or a bad switch right from the first one.

I agree with westcoastscot on the breathing that was why I suggested it could be an allergy.

When it is totally settled have a think about what you have eaten or come in contact with and write down anything you think of it may help the next Dr you see.

Fuddle - have you had a definite diagnosis of asthma? There is a machine used by the asthma nurse in my GP practice. You blow into it and it measures nitrogen from your breath, and can show whether you have asthma or not. If you have it, then beta blockers are a no-no unless taken under strict medical supervision - they can cause bronchospasm in asthmatics. Also ibuprofen and other non steroidal pain killers should be avoided. If your GP or hospital consultant are treating you as having asthma then they should refer you to a specialist asthma nurse who you can contact if you have any problems. Hope the cardiologist can shed some light on the matter next week.

When I asked for any ideas I meant on how I can circumnavigate an obstructive supplier, and get directly to the ombudsman.

This is for everyone but especially for mar.

I finally got sat down to relax about twenty minutes ago. I have just watched this on vegetables.

I am not recommending him or necessarily agreeing with him but it has made me think. It is also the part I have difficulty getting DS to eat. He would happily sit with mar saying yuk kale. He does like broccoli and loves sprouts but any other leaves no way. I do think this guy may have a point.

YAAAAY nursemaggie I love this! - he can move into Peter Ginn's shed anytime :D I mean I like his mind. Obviously.
Leaves are fine for wabbits. End of. :D If I have to eat the bloody things then I cut them into micrscopic bits then drown them in soup.
NM I don't fully understand how the utility companies work but if that was me I think I'd focus on getting out of the DD thing and paying quarterly on receipt of the bill, while at the same time putting in a formal request that they refund you the credit balance. I've never had any probs at all getting my credit back from Co-Op Energy, they are very good.

A late start for me this morning for reasons that are not a testament to my wonderful will power, so you won't be hearing about them.

Very interested in the talk about Energy providers as I will be deciding on a new one when (IF EVER) I move. My usage will be as small as I can make it so will be doing a lot of comparing.

I've watched the video nm and mar and realise that there are as many views on what we should or shouldn't be eating as there are grains of sand on our beach. I've decided that I want to enjoy my food and as long as nothing makes me ill I will eat exactly what I enjoy, only in very moderate amounts. If it means that I won't be getting a birthday card from the Queen then so be it. I've no strong desire to get to that age anyway, I think I will have had enough of this world by then and I'm pretty sure that this world will have had more than enough of me.

NOW I'm off to have a shower, before this world has to hold its nose as I pass by.

That's ironic mar iSupply Energy was Co-op Energy. They made such a cockup of running an internet only Energy company they had to sell it or risk the rest of the business. They sold it to a Swedish company.

It did improve for a while in that I got some of my money back. The same people are working for them and the same miss-coded computer is running the business. They are sill expecting a computer to do all the work. It's not AI and if we count it in human years AI is only about 18 months old in maturity in what it can do.

I can't have a paper bill. I have to go to someone else to be able to leave them. I keep signing up with other people but iSupply's computer tells the new companies computer no and the new companies computer deletes all my records and nothing happens. I am still with iSupply.

Doing it like this is babies talking to babies and we all know what happens when babies are left in charge we get an awful din an water coming through the bathroom ceiling and find the parents in bed.

The human beings who are supposed to sort out the mess don't believe the computer can make mistakes. Of course it can you have to configure it to do exactly what you need it to do. The obviously employ babies in their IT department.

If I had understood they were expecting computers to do all of the work I would have gone somewhere else. I was given a choice of iSuppy or Npower or pay half as much again. OVO went OK until they produced a huge bill at the end. After 2 years of fighting Npower and having had to fight Npower for three years, when working because they were sending my residents bills of £5,000 +. I was not going to have them again.

I hope I will be OK with EBico. GQ has them and she has her head screwed on right. monna they may be OK for you as they are a none profit trying to eliminate fuel poverty. They specialise in low usage customers.

That'll be the Peter Ginn you denied holding prisoner in your shed mar .
    I am watching !!!

Apologies if you've done this already .
If you google ofgem . Look at complain about your gas or electricity supplier and read through the steps you'll see it is possible to complain direct to the Ombudsman .
I'm aware you've gone through some of the stages already from your posts last year .
There are useful links for each stage . If you haven't already done so the CAB template letter and other advice seems useful .

Good morning fencers I have no idea how my reply to mar ended up in the middle of NMs .

Sun here for the second day running so I'll be back later . I'm about to hang some washing out in the hope the snow doesn't get to here .
Cold , windy but good drying today .
