Withdrawing Mortgage Application

Hello All,
I’ve submitted a mortgage application to Accord via a Broker but due to a change in circumstances I’d now like to withdraw the application.
My Broker however is constantly ‘unavailable’. I have e-mailed my broker to make my instructions clear - I’m yet to receive a response.
Basically is it possible to withdraw a mortgage application & will my Broker need to do this? Also, will it be noted that it was withdrawn...rather than declined? Any help would be appreciated.

It depends how far along the process it is. They may have already done credit searches etc. Does your broker a have a colleague who can assist?0

From a voicemail I!!!8217;ve had it appears that the application only went in today. I don!!!8217;t think there!!!8217;s an assistant to contact.
I!!!8217;d have thought it!!!8217;d be straightforward to just simply withdraw it?0 -
It is straight forward.
Not being able to contact the Broker is more of a worry. Does he or she work alone?I am a Mortgage Broker

Sorry it's all been sorted now....application cancelled. My Broker had e-mailed to confirm this but for some reason their e-mails had gone into my junk/spam folder. I'd jumped the gun as I didn't want the application to go ahead.
Thanks to those who replied! :-)0 -
Just a word of warning.
Avoid making any further mortgage applications if you plan to enter different information to the one you have cancelled.
The National Hunter system is designed to identify potentially fraudulent applications where details are changed from one to another to (on the face of it) improve the chance of acceptance.I am a mortgage broker.
