DO NOT USE!!! They are a brokerage firm and will take £59.99 out of your account - EVEN IF YOU DON'T TAKE OUT A LOAN THEY OFFER! If you do not complain and request a refund within 7 days, they deduct a £5 "administration fee" from the refund.

Struggling to find contact details to request a refund? therightloan4u will ask you to request the refund in writing at Nouveau Finance Limited - no address provided! So I googled it, which lead me to a website - again has no contact details and asks you to email!

I then went on 192 and found a MOBILE NUMBER! Yep, its a one man band! I do not know how he sleeps at night. DM me and I will message you his number if it cant be found on 192. He hung up on me so i was cheeky and text him... and he replied!!! The coward agreed to a full refund via text!!! Oh and as a goodwill gesture he offered to refund the full amount, to which I pointed out is required by law as I have asked for the money within 7 days. His response?? You're dead right, I'm not on the ball, I'm tired!

He even said 'lol' in his text messages at one point!

I'll write again shortly to confirm whether or not my refund ever appears. It should be in my account no later than Thursday.

You ticked a box during your application to confirm you read this page: https://therightloan4u.co.uk/terms.php.

It contains this pretty near the top:
    Fees, Cancellations and Refunds

We will charge you a fee to act as your specialsed finance broker. This fee is specified as part of our communications with You. If you do not enter into a loan offered by lender or financier within the 1 month that we act for you then we will refund the fee less than the £5 brokerage fee provided for by the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Refunds must be requested in writing to avoid repayments being sent to a wrong address and/or getting lost. To facilitate us processing payments and repayments you authorise us to retain your charge, credit and debit card details. With regards to payments set up by debit or credit card we will attempt to take a fee when you make your application. Under the Financial Services (Distance Marketing) Regulations 2004 you have the right to cancel your agreement with us within 14 days of receiving these terms and conditions, you will be entitled to a full refund which will be made within 14 days of receiving your request. If you would like to cancel You must Inform us by writing to us at Integrated Financial Solutions, 4th Floor, 59 Piccadilly, Manchester, M1 2AQ

Dunno whether you'll get a refund. Perhaps the person you spoke to was laughing because you didn't follow the refund instructions. These brokers are slippers beasts.

    Good luck.

Others will be a long soon with the same advice - read T&C's and stop giving out your bank/card details to brokers, this issue crops up several times per day I'm afraid :(

I found this on their T&C's page...

  • I understand all of that which is fair enough. However, I never applied for a loan with them. My details were sold by another company. Therefore I ticked no boxes.

I'm confused. You are warning people, "DO NOT USE," yet you are saying you have never used therightloanforyou.co.uk. How did they get your debit card details? Which site did you enter your details into?

    Sounds like an unauthorised transaction.

It's difficult to see how a contract could have been formed between you and therightloan4u.co.uk.

If I were you I'd simply report this to my bank as an authorised transaction.

However, there's usually more to this stories than it seems.
  • I also lose money like this with my first broker

This is actually becoming disturbingly common. People are reporting more often that they have dealt with ONE firm, only to find a myriad of others lined up waiting to take their bite too. It seems that these companies are selling or simply passing on the account details from individual enquiries and are therefore helping themselves to money they are not entitled to. When you investigate the companies themselves, you often find that they all have the same directors and addresses, but different trading names. The problem is, it is easier to blame the consumer for entering their account details into multiple sites, when it is far more likely that these companies are in fact acting illegally, safe in the knowledge that there is little that can be done about them at the moment.

Yep, you're exactly right. Apparently if you apply through ONE payday loan operator, Wonga for example, they have the right to sell on your details to brokerage firms who take money out of your account without authorisation. Lloyds bank have confirmed this for me and I think it stinks!!

Wonga loans serve their purpose for a one off emergency loan. I have used them twice before and paid back ON TIME and was very pleased with the service provided. However I am disgusted that they reserve the right to do things like this! Surely it should be against the law?!

Yes, this bit, what you wrote above is not true.
