Looking at tax credit it says a couple must work at least 24 hours a week to qualify .
My husband is a househusband and l have started a job with a contract of 16 hours a week but they say there will always be overtime available so would aleast get 24 hours a week .
The tax credit on line calculator says on hours worked a week to put your hours down what you would work a week counting overtime .
As l’ve just started l don’t know what to put down as average hours .

How far in advance will you get your hours? I'd suggest you wait for four weeks then see what your hours have been. WTC can be backdated for a month if entitled.0

It's 30 hours for a couple unless they have children which would make it 24 hours?0
